Hi! I’m a finalist at St Catherine’s College, Oxford, studying Spanish. Last year I spent my year abroad studying in Salamanca, Spain, for half a year before heading to Santiago, Chile!
Coming from a multi-lingual background, I grew up intrigued by the different cultures that surrounded me and how language was a vehicle for more than just communication. I became fascinated by how digging deeper into languages can unveil the histories of many corners of the world and I really enjoy supporting students who share the same kind of curiosity!
I tutor all levels of Spanish (from beginners to GCSEs to A-level and IB), Mandarin Chinese and every element of Oxbridge applications (personal statement, MLAT support and interview prep). I have formally been tutoring students in these subjects since Sixth Form and have also led 2 separate tutoring organisations that help students better understand Oxbridge applications!
Having applied through the American university system and been accepted into an Ivy League, as well as having gone through the Medicine application and finally languages at Oxbridge, I can levy my diverse experiences to share a unique perspective of the beauty of studying languages at university!
